Description & Eligibility:  The Chase Paperless Statements Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins on January 1, 2008 12:00:01 AM ET and ends on February 29th, 2008 11:59:59 PM ET ("Promotion Period"). This Sweepstakes is offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age and older during the Promotion Period. Employees of Chase Bank USA, N.A., JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., (individually and collectively, the "Sponsor") and their immediate families (i.e. spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), participating prize partners, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these official rules ("Official Rules") or interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If a participant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that participant's eligibility to participate in the Promotion. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. Void in Puerto Rico and where restricted or prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER:  Current Chase Online(SM) customers who are enrolled in Paperless Statements with a credit card account, checking account, or savings account from Chase Bank USA, N.A. or JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. at the start of the Promotion Period will automatically earn an entry into the Sweepstakes if they are still enrolled in Paperless Statements at the end of the Promotion Period.

For customers who are not currently enrolled in Paperless Statements from Chase, there are two ways to enter. To enter online: during the Promotion Period log onto http://gopaperless.chasesweepstakes.com. New and current eligible Chase credit card account, checking account or and savings account customers who enroll or are enrolled in the Chase Online(SM) service and who enroll in Paperless Statements by the end of the Promotion Period will receive one automatic entry into the Sweepstakes. Enrollments made under multiple identities or through the use of any agent or other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be deemed invalid. To enter by mail without enrolling or without having a credit card account, checking account or savings account: print your name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth and email address on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, place in envelope and mail to: Chase Paperless Statements Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 4316, Manhasset, NY 11030-4316. Limit of one (1) entry per person regardless of method of entry. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by February 29, 2008 and received by March 7, 2008 to be eligible.

PRIZES:  Three (3) Grand Prize:   Each of three Grand Prize winners will receive a 2008 MINI Cooper (base model).Each Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for car registration, title, license fees, insurance, and all other costs, expenses, and applicable laws associated with vehicle registration and all associated laws herewith. All options and upgrades on vehicle, other than those listed in these Official Rules, are sole responsibility of Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winner must pick up vehicle at the MINI Cooper dealership nearest his/her residence, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Once Grand Prize Winner has been notified that vehicle is at the dealership, the winner must pick up vehicle within thirty (30) days of date of such notification. Sponsor reserves the right to extend the delivery date of vehicle by up to six (6) months from the date of notification to the Winner. Vehicle will only be released upon proof of current valid driver's license and satisfactory proof of insurance. All income and other taxes are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize Winner. Accessories and options may vary; interior/exterior color (subject to availability). Accessories are subject to change without notice. Vehicle shown in advertising may vary from the vehicle awarded. Approximate Retail Value "ARV": $20,000 each.
Three (3) First Prizes:  A $5,000 gift certificate to Sierra Club Outings Adventure, ARV $5,000.00 each. Terms and conditions as they appear on the gift certificate will apply.
Five (5) Second Prizes:  An Energy Efficient Appliance Package which includes a Whirlpool 18.2 cu ft Refrigerator and a Whirlpool Dishwasher, ARV $1,000 each.
Ten (10) Third Prizes: A Trek Hybrid Bicycle, ARV $400 each.
One hundred (100) Fourth Prizes: A $150 gift certificate to Patagonia, ARV $150 each. Terms and conditions as they appear on the gift certificate will apply.
Total ARV of all prizes: $99,000.00. Federal, state and local taxes and all other expenses not specified herein are winners' sole responsibility. Each Grand Prize Winner will also receive a cash payment equal to 33% of the above stated ARV of the Grand Prize to assist in payment of US taxes. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable.

RANDOM DRAWING/NOTIFICATION:  Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about March 14, 2008 by Marden-Kane, Inc., an independent judging organization from among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by phone, email, US mail, and/or over night courier. Winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and where legal, a Publicity Release within 14 days following the date of issuance of notification. Winners will also be required to furnish their social security number that will be used only for the purpose of reporting the winner's prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service, as required by law. Failure to timely return any documents requested, return of prize notification as undeliverable, or noncompliance with these Official Rules will result in such potential winner being disqualified. Sponsor shall have no further obligation to that potential winner, and an alternate winner will be selected. The odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received via all entry methods. In no event will more prizes be awarded than those listed in these Official Rules. Decisions of the judges will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Electronically reproduced, mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. By participating, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. In case of a dispute as to the owner of an online entry, online entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized Chase account holder from which the entry is made. Sponsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, Marden-Kane, Inc., and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents (collectively "Releasees") are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or printing error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online enrollment form, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. No facsimiles of entries will be accepted. If, in the Administrator' opinion there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of this Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the Administrator reserves the right to void any entries at issue and/or to suspend, modify or cancel or terminate this Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time without notice and award the prizes in a random drawing from among all non-suspect eligible entries received as of the termination date. Caution: Any attempt by a participant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:  By accepting a prize, winner's consents to the use of their name, voice, and/or photograph for promotional purposes by Sponsor, and its designees, including but not limited to the posting of winner's name on the Sponsor's website(s), in a Winners List or other online announcements, without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Participants release and hold harmless Releasees from any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes. Notice to online participants: Internet access and usage charges applicable to a participant's account, including local, long distance, 800/888* access charges and/or any usage charges applicable under participant's Internet pricing plan and any applicable taxes will continue to apply while a participant is online in connection with this Sweepstakes, and will be the sole responsibility of such participant.

PRIVACY:  Information collected from participants is used only for the purpose of the prize drawing and to notify winners, and will not be re-used, sold or shared in any manner by Sponsor or any third parties unless entrant has opted-in to receive additional information and promotional material from Sponsor or a third party. Once the Sweepstakes, including any known or unknown extensions of the Sweepstakes, has ended, all information supplied by entrants will be removed from the database.  

WHO WON:  For the name of major prize winners, available after April 15, 2008, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Chase Paperless Statements Sweepstakes Winner, c/o Marden-Kane, Inc., 36 Maple Place, Manhasset, NY 11030-1962. Residents of VT may omit return postage. Requests must be received by March 15, 2007.
